I initially bought it for the smell, which is great for me. For some time I have been using it alternately with frankincense oil and black cumin oil on the neck area for thyroid, I still don't have before&after results but I hope it will have an effect.

A unique scent I'd say, hard to mistake. Woody, slightly sweet, warm. It's the base for many cosmetic preparations. Quite expensive, but worth the money.

It's a bit different from the one from India, that one is like a sweeter idea, this one is more woody, but such a natural and soothing wood, wow! I still can't decide which one I like more, the Australian sandalwood or the Indian one (the Indian one I understand is not even available anymore). Anyway, highly recommend, maybe bring 5 ml bottles.

Sandalwood essential oil is a must in your perfume laboratory. It is expensive, but worth it. It brings woody, oriental notes, fine notes of amber and musk. And the end result, i.e. the perfume created is fantastic. I highly recommend it.

I purchased it last year for the second time and it is still as splendid as the first smell if not more pleasant. The elegance of the white sandalwood scent is like nothing else. On its own and in combination, it is the perfect addition to almost any scented composition.

The scent of Sandalwood is lingering, soft, mysterious, sweet and woody, with musky balsamic notes. Combined with Rose, the result is a purifying aroma.

I don't even remember when I bought this oil on the ELEMENTAL website, it says on the bottle Lot: 1107 and expiration date 12.2013. We are in 2020 and his smell is exceptional. Along with it I also purchased ylang-ylang, atlas cedar and green lemon, all essential. I kept them in the fridge. Honestly I had forgotten about them, and now when I rediscovered them I was amazed to find that not a single one of them has a rancid odor. Congratulations on this extremely important point Elemental. As for odor appreciation, I think each person is unique, and so is their opinion of this oil or that. All the best!

Sandalwood essential oil I think is one of the most used in the world. It has a great oriental scent, so it's perfect if you want to meditate. It's great for combating stress and depression, gives confidence and has an aphrodisiac effect.

First of all I would like to clarify one point about sandalwood in general. It is not a strong fragrance, it is instead one close to the skin, you don't hear it, but you feel it, that's how Santalum album wood must be. I was a bit skeptical about Elemental's sandalwood oil, but having 3 types already at home (Santalum album from Mysore, Satalum spicatum from Australia and Santal balsamic taken from one of the most trusted sources in Europe and Australia), I can clearly say, it's on the same level. I will definitely be purchasing at least 20ml again in the near future. For those who don't know, sandalwood oil has no expiry date, on the contrary, as the years go by, it matures and its flavor is more intense and delicate.

I have ordered this oil, and I don't smell any oriental smell , I could say it has no odor. I added 3pic to a 10 ml facial serum and there is no odor. And I have a highly developed sense of smell. I don't know what is in that bottle but only pure sandalwood essential oil is not. And it costs something. I would like an explanation if possible , I am even willing to send the bottle to you to check what I have reported.

It smells very nice. I filled the bottle it came in with jojoba oil. I apply less than a drop on my wrist. The scent lingers all day.
