La polvere di Mimosa si ottiene dalla corteccia rossa macinata dell'albero Mimosa tenuiflora, popolarmente conosciuto come "Tepezcohuite". La sua composizione è dominata da polifenoli di tipo tannico e saponosidi, composti a cui la letteratura specializzata attribuisce proprietà astringenti e antiossidanti.
È un ingrediente tradizionale utilizzato nelle formulazioni per la cura della pelle, apprezzato per l'aspetto tonificato e rigenerato che dona, oltre alla sua compatibilità con le formulazioni studiate per pelli sensibili o con imperfezioni.

Guida alla Preparazione del Macerato di Mimosa
- Preparazione di un macerato idroglicerico: Utilizzare il 30% di glicerina/propanediolo, il 60% di acqua purificata e il 10% di polvere di mimosa.
- Pesare gli ingredienti, aggiungerli in un flacone con tappo e agitare bene.
- Lasciare macerare per 24-48 ore, agitando di tanto in tanto.
- Filtrare la miscela (utilizzando un filtro o carta da filtro) e trasferire il liquido raccolto in un flacone pulito.
- Incorporare il macerato immediatamente nella formulazione prevista oppure conservarlo con un conservante adeguato (ad es. 1% di Cosgard) per un uso futuro.

I've been using it for a long time in creams for rosacea-prone skin, and including acne-prone skin, and I can say that it has very good effects!

This plant is very interesting, I have read a bit about the skin tree and how it regenerates the skin quickly. Mimosa, also called skin tree, is ideal for my sensitive skin.I only noticed after a few uses that it improves the appearance of the skin.Since it also has regenerative properties, I will try it for stretch marks.

Hi! I use it almost daily with argan oil, I prepared a macerate that I apply every evening. The results are seen f good this way, much better than if I would use it independently. And obviously in the green clay mask in which I also add other goodies like honey, lemon or hibiscus powder.
