Polvere di Amla Biologica - Ricca di vitamina C, antiossidante, tonificante per la cura della pelle e dei capelli.
La polvere di Amla è un ingrediente fondamentale nella cosmetica ayurvedica tradizionale, utilizzata sia per la cura della pelle, per ottenere un incarnato luminoso e uniforme, sia per la cura dei capelli e del cuoio capelluto, spesso in combinazione con l'henné e altre polveri ayurvediche.
Si ottiene dai frutti essiccati e macinati dell'albero Emblica officinalis (noto anche come "uva spina indiana" o amalaki), provenienti da agricoltura biologica. Il frutto fresco di amla è tra le fonti naturali più concentrate di vitamina C, presente in un complesso con tannini, flavonoidi e acido gallico, una combinazione studiata nella letteratura specializzata per la sua capacità di stabilizzare la vitamina C contro l'ossidazione.

- Macerato oleoso, per oli viso, oli da massaggio, creme notte, oli sublimatori per capelli.
Guida alla Formulazione
- Preparazione di un macerato oleoso: Utilizzare 100 ml di olio vegetale a scelta e 10 g di polvere. Agitare bene e lasciare macerare fino a 7 giorni, agitando di tanto in tanto. Filtrare utilizzando una carta da filtro per caffè o un setaccio denso, quindi trasferire il filtrato in un flacone pulito. L'olio macerato rimane stabile per diversi mesi in un luogo fresco.
- Preparazione di un infuso: Aggiungere 100 ml di acqua bollente a 10 g di polvere, mescolare e lasciare in infusione fino a 15 minuti. Filtrare, lasciare raffreddare e trasferire il filtrato in un flacone pulito. Incorporare nella formula immediatamente oppure conservare con l'1% di Cosgard per un uso futuro.
- Si combina bene con l'henné e altre polveri ayurvediche (shikakai, reetha, kapoor kachli) nelle formule per la cura dei capelli.

Very beneficial for the skin, as a facial mask, it invigorates, tones and leaves the skin bright and velvety soft... (I would prefer a finer granulation as it was in the past.)
I've been using neutral henna in combination with Amla powder + other ayurvedic powders to make a mask before shower for a few years now, my hair is completely invigorated and has visibly thickened. When I add more Amla, the curls seem even more defined, it's wonderful!

I bought amla powder because of the very good reviews. It didn't necessarily convince me though, or maybe I didn't know how to capitalize on its properties. I added a tablespoon of amla powder to the henna mixture (either blonde or black) but I didn't notice any additional effect, apart from a slightly different shade on my hair (a brownish shade that I didn't like). I have also used it as a hair scrub (a teaspoon + shampoo) and vigorously scrubbed the scalp, but nothing spectacular.
