Descrizione
Biopolimero naturale multifunzionale ricco di polisaccaridi e glicoproteine, utilizzato come agente adesivo in varie formulazioni cosmetiche, come mascara o eyeliner. Sulla pelle forma uno strato con effetto tensore che lo rende prezioso nelle formulazioni antirughe e rassodanti istantanee.

- migliora la stabilità dell'emulsione, agisce come agente coesivo
- promotore di adesione, facilita la tenuta del mascara
- migliora l'aderenza degli eyeliner sulla pelle
- tensore istantaneo per la pelle, leviga temporaneamente la pelle e attenua le rughe
- forma un sottile strato non occlusivo sulla superficie della pelle
- aiuta a limitare la disidratazione della pelle
- dona un moderato effetto fissante sui capelli
- carboidrato non fermentabile e delicato sui denti, non alimenta i batteri né provoca un abbassamento del pH della placca, utile nelle formulazioni di dentifrici in polvere
- ha un basso effetto gelificante
CONSIGLI D'USO
- adatto per applicazioni di cura della pelle di viso, collo e décolleté, formulazioni per il trucco e l'acconciatura
- utilizzato per stabilizzare le formule di mascara e eyeliner e per migliorare l'aderenza durante l'applicazione
- come agente stabilizzante nelle emulsioni
- nei dentifrici in polvere come eccipiente sano e naturale
- aggiungere alla fase acquosa delle emulsioni
- aggiungere gradualmente all'acqua per soluzioni acquose, mescolare bene, quindi riscaldare o lasciare riposare fino a completa dissoluzione
- stabile in un intervallo di pH compreso tra 3 e 12

I used the gum in a serum for the area around the eyes, it did the job, it's a very good and natural binding agent.

like xanthan gum (which I usually use), acacia and guar gums are also very suitable for stabilizing and gelling liquid compositions (used following the instructions); for my beginner level, I wouldn't say I see much difference between them (obviously leaving aside specific characteristics; acacia gels less)

It can be used in combination with xanthan gum in a 1:1 ratio to give a smoother gel wash. Add after mixing the water with the surfactants, ideally solubilized in glycerine or propylene glycol beforehand

I use acacia gum in making gels. I find it much better than xanthan gum, I will definitely use it instead of xanthan.
