Emulsionante Emulsan – Versatile, ad Alte Prestazioni
L'Emulsionante Emulsan è un emulsionante Olio-in-Acqua (O/A) privo di PEG, ottenuto da materie prime vegetali rinnovabili, apprezzato per la sua capacità di formare emulsioni termicamente e fisico-chimicamente stabili. Emulsan è versatile, capace di emulsionare un'ampia gamma di fasi grasse (oli vegetali, esteri, cere) senza richiedere strettamente l'uso di co-emulsionanti. Consente di ottenere formule stabili in ampi intervalli di pH. Conferisce una texture fine alle creme, un'eccellente stendibilità sulla pelle e un piacevole profilo sensoriale, lasciando l'epidermide idratata e vellutata.

- Tipo di Emulsionante: Non ionico, Olio-in-Acqua (O/A).
- Aspetto: Granuli o pellet da bianco sporco a giallastro.
- Dosaggio Generale: 2% - 6%
Proprietà Principali
- Stabilità: Forma una solida barriera interfacciale attorno alle goccioline d'olio, prevenendo la coalescenza e la separazione anche in caso di sbalzi di temperatura.
- Natura Non Ionica Tollerante: Non reagisce negativamente con sali, elettroliti o conservanti complessi, offrendo una buona flessibilità formulativa.
- Emolliente, Idratante: Riduce la perdita di acqua transepidermica (TEWL) formando un film sottile che migliora l'idratazione.
- Profilo Sensoriale: Le creme realizzate con Emulsan presentano una texture ricca nel vaso, ma risultano leggere sulla pelle, assorbendosi facilmente senza lasciare uno strato pesante.

- Creme viso giorno e notte destinate a tutti i tipi di pelle, in particolare pelli secche, sensibili o mature.
- Lozioni corpo fluide e latti corpo idratanti.
- Creme riparatrici per mani e piedi.
- Formulazioni solari e lozioni doposole.
Guida alla Formulazione
- Procedura: Seguire il classico metodo a caldo per le creme; Emulsan viene incorporato nella fase oleosa, che viene riscaldata a circa 70°C - 75°C.
- Fase Oleosa: Può formare emulsioni con una fase oleosa compresa tra il 15% e il 40%, offrendo ottime prestazioni sia con oli vegetali polari che con esteri. Per la stabilizzazione, si raccomanda l'aggiunta di un ulteriore 2% - 7% di fattori di consistenza nelle creme ad elevata fase oleosa.
- Intervallo di pH Ottimale: pH 3,5 - 8,5 nelle creme dense, 5,5 - 8,5 nelle creme fluide.
- Dosaggio Raccomandato: 2% - 6%
- Compatibilità: Eccellente con una vasta gamma di ingredienti, attivi complessi, inclusi gli elettroliti.

My favorite emulsifier for eye creams & anti-aging, with a high percentage oil phase and lots of actives, but not greasy feeling on the skin.
I've used Elemental's Emulsan in several DIY cosmetic formulations and I can say it's a great emulsifier! It creates fine emulsions with an elegant texture without a greasy feel, which makes it perfect for lightweight day creams, moisturizing lotions, or even emulsions for sensitive skin. I really like the stability of the emulsion, even when I add more demanding active ingredients. Also, my skin reacts very well to products created with Emulsan - it doesn't irritate, doesn't weigh down and leaves a nice, velvety finish. Another important aspect is its versatility - I've been able to get both fluid lotions and more consistent creams, just by adjusting the percentage of emulsifier and oil phase. Plus the fact that it's plant-based is a big bonus! I confidently recommend Emulsan to anyone who wants to create quality cosmetics with perfect texture and a professional look. I will definitely continue to use it!
A great natural emulsifier. Perfect for all creams. It combines the oil phase with the water phase wonderfully, making every cream a breeze to make. I use only this emulsifier and can highly recommend it.
I have used Emulsan in creams along with Glycem. The texture of the cream is excellent, it absorbs well into the skin compared to other emulsifiers.
