Agente chelante di origine naturale per formulazioni cosmetiche, aiuta ad aumentare la durata di conservazione, la stabilità e l'efficacia dei prodotti cosmetici. Un'alternativa naturale all'EDTA.
I metalli possono entrare in una formulazione cosmetica dalle attrezzature di produzione, come impurità degli ingredienti e dall'acqua. Questi metalli favoriscono le reazioni di ossidazione, possono causare scolorimento e compromettere le proprietà schiumogene dei tensioattivi.

I changed the recipe a bit from the new kojic acid toner, which also contains chelator. Along with a friend's ideas and products, I turned it into a serum (with xanthan gum) and replaced the water with equal amounts of witch hazel and immortelle water. And I use it all over my body after an exfoliating shower. I have no words for the result, baby soft skin instantly! It instantly improves the appearance of the skin, and the effect lasts a minimum of 24 hours.

Very good chelating agent, it has an acidic ph and you have to be careful, it has alcohol and is not suitable for halal cosmetics.

It is a very good chelating agent, it slightly acidifies formulations so be careful with solutions sensitive to acid Ph less than 5 (Ex Softderm). With some minerals it can form precipitate (e.g. with the minerals in net net nettle extract, but at acidic pH it clears).
