La Base per lozione biologica è un'emulsione pronta all'uso (di tipo O/A), formulata con ingredienti di origine vegetale e certificata biologica. Arricchita con ingredienti idratanti e nutrienti, è una base per crema naturale, non profumata, che richiede solo l'aggiunta di oli essenziali o ingredienti attivi per formulare una crema leggera e personalizzata per la cura della pelle o l'aromaterapia.
È utilizzata per la rapida preparazione di creme viso e corpo personalizzate. La sua composizione consente l'incorporazione di ingredienti attivi idrosolubili e liposolubili, oli aggiuntivi, fragranze e oli essenziali senza dover affrontare le classiche fasi di emulsificazione a caldo o utilizzare complesse apparecchiature di laboratorio.
Ingredienti (INCI): Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice*, Aqua, Cocos Nucifera Oil*, Helianthus Annuus Seed Oil*, Cetearyl Alcohol, Coco-Glucoside, Butyrospermum Parkii Butter*, Potassium Sorbate, Xanthan Gum, Prunus Armeniaca Kernel Oil*, Sodium Benzoate, Citric Acid, Tocopherol, Lactic Acid.

Caratteristiche Tecniche
- Aspetto: Emulsione semi-fluida, di colore bianco, con un odore caratteristico leggermente acidulo.

Guida alla Formulazione e Personalizzazione
L'incorporazione di ingredienti aggiuntivi nella base per lozione bio deve essere effettuata rispettando i limiti di stabilità dell'emulsione:
- Procedura: La base non richiede riscaldamento. L'aggiunta di ingredienti attivi, oli essenziali o fragranze avviene a temperatura ambiente. Introdurre gli ingredienti gradualmente sotto lenta e continua agitazione con una spatola fino a completa omogeneizzazione della miscela. È possibile aggiungere sia ingredienti acquosi che oleosi, polveri, granuli e pigmenti.
- Limiti di aggiunta: Gli ingredienti possono essere generalmente aggiunti con un dosaggio totale dell'1-5%, e in alcuni casi fino al 10%; la percentuale ottimale dipende dal tipo e dalla solubilità degli ingredienti. Per prevenire la liquefazione dell'emulsione, non aggiungere più del 2% - 3% di oli vegetali. Una quantità eccessiva di additivi può portare alla separazione delle fasi e all'indebolimento del sistema conservante.

È ancora necessario aggiungere un conservante se introduco ingredienti nella base?
Il sistema conservante presente nella base è abbastanza robusto da proteggere il prodotto finale con un'aggiunta fino al 10% di ingredienti supplementari.
Perché la crema si è liquefatta o separata dopo l'aggiunta degli ingredienti?
La diminuzione della viscosità o la separazione delle fasi si verifica a causa della destabilizzazione dell'emulsione. Questo fenomeno accade quando viene superata la capacità massima di carico lipidico oppure quando vengono introdotti ingredienti attivi con un'elevata forza ionica (elettroliti o sali concentrati). Si consiglia di testare la compatibilità degli additivi su piccoli lotti di prova.
Sicurezza nell'Uso e Conservazione
Precauzioni: Esclusivamente per uso cosmetico esterno. Evitare il contatto diretto con gli occhi; in caso di contatto accidentale, sciacquare abbondantemente con acqua.
Conservazione: Conservare nel contenitore chiuso, in luogo asciutto, al riparo dalla luce solare diretta e a temperature controllate comprese tra 15°C e 25°C.

Pleasant consistency, absorbs quickly, has hardly any smell of its own. I added a little jojoba oil to it.

When applied to the face it seems to have a revulsive effect, which lasts for about 30 minutes.It's not necessarily bothersome, the question is if it's ok to keep applying the cream, does the revulsive effect indicate incompatibility, or allergic reaction to the compounds? I mention that I have not added any other ingredients and the revulsive effect is only on the skin of the face and neck.

It is a very practical base, you can include many aqueous and oily goodies in it. If you get too runny a cream, you can thicken it with stearic acid and magnesium stearate, mixed in oils.
I like to use it for face creams and eye contour creams. I mix it with more fats and watery components than is recommended by Elemental, but it still comes out fine. For thickening I add stearic acid and magnesium stearate to the creams.

The base is wonderful, especially for the complexion and the warm season. I used it in a cosmetic recipe. I recommend application with circular facial movements from bottom to top by gently massaging, the cream absorbs in seconds.
